Extract from UWCM’s June 2018 report on Women’s Groups: All the groups under Bumugusha cluster are doing very well and there is a lot of competition especially in Community Managed Microfinance (CMMF). They (Bumugusha women group) are the only group that has managed to pay back almost all the grant that they got from the government in the whole country and they have become a model group. Many government officials from different parts of the country are visiting them to inquire how they have managed to handle this. This is very encouraging and acts as another entry point for other or more support into the group’s activities.
