We were delighted to receive news today that UWCM had taken one of the local Women’s Group leaders to Bunambutye to train the women on how to make reusable pads. As you can see from the photos, there was a huge response from the ladies in the camp to learn how to make these – some learning to use the machines and others sewing by hand. We had sent money to UWCM to buy the necessary sewing materials and everyone was extremely happy as these will make their lives a little bit more comfortable.
